The R&D department is seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Engineering Project Manager/Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in the field of aircraft mechanical systems. This challenging position involves:

• Project Management responsibility for the Mechanical Systems Group,/li>
• Working within the systems engineering team to achieve On Cost, On Schedule delivery of projects
• Wide range of projects covering the design, development, qualification and certification of mechanical systems & components across the aircraft platform (e.g. Fuel, Hydraulics, Powerplant, ECS, Landing Gear, Oxygen Systems)
• High level of supplier management
• Planning and reporting of projects, risk management and mitigation
• Working to satisfy FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations

For this position you are required to have the following skills and background:

University Degree or equivalent in aeronautical or mechanical engineering Minimum five years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration & certification environment
• Experienced in Project and Vendor Management
• Ability to multi-task
• Good written and spoken English is essential, knowledge of German advantageous
