Specific Functions

Coordinate the peer review and release process for this program documents

  • Coordinate the receipt and dissemination of documentation and data from the program teams, subcontractors and customer representatives
  • Maintain the document repository and register
  • Coordinate the review of change requests
  • Collect and collate configuration management metrics
  • Support the Configuration Manager in the preparation and conduct of functional and physical configuration audits
  • Other tasks as required
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Qualifications
  • Associate Diploma in an engineering-related domain with min 2 yrs relevant technical experience, OR 5 years relevant experience in technical and CM related fields
  • Training or knowledge of the principle and practice of the respective standards; and
  • Training in Microsoft office packages advantageous
Experience
  • 2 years related experience is essential
  • Experienced in implementation and control of Change Requests; and
  • Planning, execution and reporting of Physical/Functional Configuration Audits
Skills and abilities
    Working knowledge of Configuration management processes and practices. Ability to resolve technical issues. Good problem-solving skills. Good initiative in developing and improving systems and procedures. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work autonomously in a professional environment. Good verbal and written communication skills.
