Introducing Jan Lowe, as the Resource Solutions Manager for Australian Aerospace Resources Pty Ltd. Has received professional qualifications in Engineering and Business/Human Resources. After completing university, she entered the recruitment sector many years ago by joining one of the world’s leader in international recruitment. Over one & half decades with this organisation, she enjoyed the wonderful opportunities to work internationally in the US, UK/Europe, Africa on major recruitment assignments and also working nationally in Australia.
Taking a break from the recruitment sector, she joined a major engineering organisation in the early 1980’s, and during this time had the experience as a client and as a resource provider. Knowing the importance and the competitiveness of attracting the best skilled personnel – its hurdles, the pitfalls and most of all protecting the organisation’s most valuable resource – ‘its people’. Having dealt with consultancies – their limited knowledge of resource suppliers in the market and their apparent lack of understanding and appreciation of the industry. Recruitment is not just one solution! AAR – Resources Solutions - is the whole solution - which means providing the client the knowledge to prepare for projects, tendering for major works and the power to know that they have the ability to tap into the right resources to provide results to their clients. AAR offer “knowledge engineering for resource management”!
Rejoining the recruitment consultancy scene in 1991, Jan worked for boutique style consultancies for some 12 years These two innovative and progressive firms provided a great all-round service to a number of industries. However, as Jan specialised in the Defence and Aerospace sector she soon realised that to succeed within this sector, a ‘niche’ solution provider needed to be dedicated to that industry.
2004 turned out to be a proving ground of knowing where not to be in the industry, and in 2005 took the step to purely concentrate on the Aerospace and Defence sector – thus the launch of ‘Australian Aerospace Resources Pty Ltd’ (AAR P/L). We are not just a recruitment provider, as in reality – that is the third phase – the first is business solutions, the second is resource solutions and then the final step - the recruitment solutions!
The experience that Jan has gained over the years have proven a number of important factors. Recruitment is the final solution, resourcing is the key - know where your resources are – and the recruitment part is simple.
We do not offer miracles - but provide a result which is cost effective. We seek to give the client the best coverage – “knowledge engineering” – dedicated to understanding the needs of the industry, knowing the market and where the best resources are. We aim to track and provide constant information in order for your business to compete in the open market on opportunities in Australia and internationally.
What do you expect as a client from us? Recruitment is the end of the cycle – we are able to provide information on what to expect. We bring all the pieces together - like a jigsaw – the pieces fit, and therefore the solution is complete. As a provider – that is what you expect from us!

On the personal side, Jan is a GP fan & enjoys historic car racing. She is the No.1 pit crew to her partner, family and children. She hopes to be a successful painter and to continue appreciating our beautiful planet & its creatures!
